Just like a Little Black Dress is an essential in every fashion girl's wardrobe, similarly, a nude lip color should be a staple in every beauty buff's makeup arsenal. A nude lip color is classy, elegant, minimalistic, is always in trend and pairs well with almost every outfit.
But now, nude lip color is quite a conundrum around the world. What exactly constitutes a nude lip color? Some believe it should be the exact color of your skin, some say it should be the exact color of your lip. And then there was also the 'nipple-thing'..( hello Buzzfeed).. But to be honest with you, there's no definition of nude color. Its different for different skin-tones. And then there's preference too. Some prefer a pinky-nude, some with a brownish hue. And there's no perfect nude for anybody. Why limit ourselves to just one when we deserve the whole lot?!
Now for quite a few months, I've been hoarding liquid lipsticks from this relatively new brand, SUGAR Cosmetics. It's an Indian cosmetic brand that has a plethora of amazing makeup products, ranging from hassle-free foundation sticks to oh-so-trendy eyeshadow palettes! They have an extensive range of lust-worthy lipsticks! (Don't worry, I'm not getting paid for saying all of this. This brand is genuinely amazing!). They have a great shade range and very shade inclusive. They ship worldwide. What I personally like about this brand is the fact that they do not advertise their products by hiring celebrities, but rather by collaborating with beauty influencers, bloggers, and their consumers. These are all the nude shades that I own. They have other nude shades as well, but I didn't buy them since they won't work for my complexion. They have other colors as well, some bold wines and berries, some classy reds, fierce oranges and really punky purples. They recently updated their SMUDGE-ME-NOT range with six new metallic shades.
